About TEDxPICT

Our mission

We put a stage under ideas that would otherwise stay in a seminar room, a lab, or a notebook.

TEDxPICT is the independently organized TEDx chapter run by students at Pune Institute of Computer Technology. We exist to give researchers, practitioners, students, and thinkers from in and around Pune a platform built to the same standard as any TED stage — rigorous curation, thoughtful production, and an audience that came to listen.

How we work

• Curation

  Months before any stage lighting is decided, our curation team is doing the harder work — finding speakers whose ideas hold up to scrutiny, not just applause.

• Production

  From stage design to sound to the run of show, we treat production as part of the message. A good idea deserves a well-run room.

• Community

  TEDxPICT exists year-round, not just on event day — through smaller salons, speaker prep sessions, and conversations that carry the theme forward.
